Mr. X, a company secretary for ABC Pvt Ltd, found himself trapped in a frustrating loop with the MCA V3 portal. On DD/MM/YYYY, he paid Rs. 500 for certified copies through BharatKosh (SRN: XYZ123456) and received a successful payment receipt. However, when he checked the ROC City A status, it showed the payment as “unpaid.” Despite having clear proof of payment from BharatKosh, the MCA system refused to sync the payment status. The helpdesk provided no meaningful assistance, creating a deadlock where Mr. X couldn’t proceed with his compliance requirements despite having paid the required fees.

The Information Technology Act also governs digital payment reconciliation disputes between government portals.
