Coaching Institute Refund Case - Consumer Fraud and Misleading Services

Mr. Y joined XYZ Coaching Institute on 12/01/YYYY after Mr. X, the coach, promised to complete the entire syllabus by mid-February. Mr. Y paid the full fees upfront, trusting the assurances given. However, within days, it became apparent that Mr. X had no proper infrastructure – no official website, no support staff, no admission documents, and no structured teaching materials. Instead of productive classes, Mr. X engaged in irrelevant discussions, wasted valuable study time, and used abusive language during sessions. The coaching lacked basic professionalism and failed to deliver promised educational services. Mr. Y realized he had been misled and decided to seek legal recourse for refund and compensation for the mental harassment and academic loss suffered due to the fraudulent practices of the coaching institute.
